Intel 'death' Celeron D
The world's number one processor chip manufacturer Intel said it would stop manufacturing and trading the Celeron D.
Specifically, the products will be put into the list of discontinued production in this phase including Celeron D 326, 346, 351 and 355.
Intel will only produce the above products according to pre-orders. From 2/2/2007 Intel customers will not be allowed to change orders for these products. And from April 6, 2007 Intel will stop accepting orders for Celeron D.
So the official information is that Intel stopped producing and selling the low-cost Celeron microprocessor product line that was released just a day after the news that it stopped producing Pentium D 820 and Celeron D. 90-nanometer technology application.
Last August Intel also announced a plan to stop production of the Pentium D product line and now Celeron D. This is part of a plan to stop producing all Pentium and Celeron product lines - both single and core cores. dual - and pave the way for the development of the Core 2 Duo product line as well as paving the way for Pentium to use Core architecture platform.
