Intel launches training programs in Second Life
Intel has just opened another center in the Second Life virtual world. This time is a training center dedicated to professionals in the field of information technology.
The program will include a series of presentations aimed at enabling professionals in multi-core technology, management and mobility to interact with Intel experts.
The newly launched Software Network Area in Intel's Second Life virtual world also offers online training courses, video lectures or programs to meet experts or small competitions called Braniac Warbots .
On the opening day, Intel also organized a first expert meeting with the topic of exchange around the development of multi-core microprocessor chips. Intel said there were about 60 people participating in the event.
Analysts assess that this new move by Intel is a move to expand Intel's presence in the Internet world.
Intel now has two bases in the Second Life shirt world. In addition to the facility mentioned above, Intel also has another facility called SL jargon opened in April. At this facility Seconde Life users will be able to learn and design a motorcycle in the virtual world.
Intel also plans to launch a new facility exclusively for users in the Second Life virtual world.
Not only Intel but also a number of other famous technology companies such as IBM, Cisco, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems have set their foundations for themselves in the Second Life virtual world.
