Intelligent water bottles, innovative products of the Vietnamese
This smart water bottle will calculate the amount of water needed for the body and remind you to drink water every day.
Water is a very important part of the body, scientists advise us to drink enough water and divide it into several times a day. However busy life sometimes makes us forget about drinking water.
Water bottles remind us to drink water every day.
Former data analyst Nadya Nguyen, a Vietnamese-born girl, came up with a very unique idea. It's a smart water bottle that reminds you when to drink, as well as monitoring and managing the amount of water you need to drink based on the physiological characteristics of each person.
This HidrateMe water bottle uses a smartphone and Bluetooth connectivity with a smartphone via an application. This application calculates the amount of water you need to drink in a day, based on age, weight, and environmental conditions (humidity, temperature).
It can also be synchronized with a health watch like Fitbit, to calculate the amount of body water lost during exercise and remind you to compensate for that water.
You can also be assured that this smart bottle will not bother you like a continuous alarm clock. Because you can set the reminder time to your liking.

This innovative idea of the Vietnamese girl has attracted $ 200,000 on the KickStarter website. Each HidrateMe bottle will cost about $ 39 a unit and will be available by the end of 2015.
