Internet Explorer is still not in a hurry

Picture 1 of Internet Explorer is still not in a hurry Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser still has not been exhausted because a series of serious security holes discovered in the past have suffered a new blow, when a new error has been discovered.

Yesterday, a research expert revealed a new bug in Internet Explorer. This error can be exploited by hackers to install spyware on users' PC systems.

This security error relates to how the browser downloads Flash files with the extension '.swf'. Malicious attackers can use a Flash file to fake the browser's address bar in order to hide the actual URL of the website displayed on the browser. This is one of the frauds (phishing) used quite popular over time.

However, security firm Secunia only evaluated IE's newly discovered security vulnerability to 'less dangerous', because the name of the Flash file is still displayed in the browser window.

Secunia recommends that users disable the Active Scripting feature in IE. This is also a recommendation to help users avoid the risk of attack through the createTextRange vulnerability.
