Iran has produced four nano medicines for cancer patients

Hossein Shakki, director of the Nano Technology Initiative (INIC) for Iran's pharmaceutical industries, said the country has produced four nano medicines for cancer patients, with quality. Higher than imported products and much cheaper prices.

Shakki said anticancer nano drugs are currently being used in Iran to treat breast and prostate cancers.

In addition to the new drugs produced above, Iranian scientists also produce 18 drugs using biotechnology and are studying for 29 other biologic drugs.
