According to Reuters, the disclosure may be angered by Western countries urging Iran to scale down its nuclear program.

Fars has also said Iran has conducted "mechanical" tests on the latest IR-8 centrifuge, but has not yet injected uranium into the machines.

"The production and manufacture of new centrifuges is our right," he said, adding that "based on the Geneva agreement, research and development is not restricted."

The West is closely following Iran's development of a new centrifuge to replace its current fragile machine, which could allow the Islamic Republic to produce materials for the production of atomic bombs. with much faster speed.

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reports this year indicate that Iran is testing four different models of uranium centrifuges: IR-2m, IR-4, IR-6 and IR-6. These machines are being developed at the Natanz nuclear complex.
