Japan invested in wastewater treatment in Tho Quang Industrial Park

On August 4, Da Nang People's Committee Office said, OEC Company (Japan) has just reported to the City leaders the plan to treat waste water in Tho Quang aquaculture service industrial park, one of the hot spots on the plot. Environmental pollution that Da Nang has focused on handling in the past but has not been effective.

According to Seiichiro Miyamoto, Deputy Executive Director of OEC, the waste water treatment system invested by the company will cost about US $ 14 million from the Japanese government's non-refundable aid. Total land area needed for the project is about 1.2ha. Funds for operation, maintenance and maintenance of the system are taken from the service fee collected from factories in the industrial park.

The system ensures environmental friendly requirements, using natural energy sources including solar energy and gas extracted from sludge. The remainder of treated sludge and fish fat can be used as fertilizer in agriculture. This is an advanced and modern system of waste water treatment, after treatment, it will produce clean water meeting environmental standards.

According to Mr. Seiichiro, the centralized wastewater treatment has the advantages that the system maintenance work is convenient, eliminating water pollution and bad smell, the service fee is low and reasonable, so Can guarantee the long-term operation of the system.

The Office of Da Nang City People's Committee said that the City leaders highly appreciated the plan of treating waste water in Tho Quang aquaculture service zone proposed by OEC Company and directing relevant departments and agencies to conduct the appraisal, and at the same time, quickly promote the access to non-refundable ODA of the Japanese Government so that the project can be implemented soon.

It is known that OEC is also the provider and consultant for technical support for installation of medical waste incinerators funded by the Japanese Government for Hoa Vang - Cam Le General Hospital (Da Nang).
