Japan launched robots to do many things like humans

HRP-5P is a robot that has just been introduced by Japan in order to perform a kind of work to replace workers in dangerous working environments.

According to SlashGear, the new robot has a height of 1.82m and weighs 101kg. It has intelligent features such as environmental measurement, object identification, body movement planning, control technology and task description capabilities. Researchers behind the robot thought it would be feasible for construction sites and assembly structures such as planes and ships.

The robot has 2 degrees of freedom in the neck, 3 degrees of freedom at the waist, 8 degrees of freedom with each arm, 6 degrees of freedom with each leg and 2 degrees of freedom in each hand. The range of motion and power of the robot allows it to lift large objects such as standard plywood and gypsum board.

Researchers have made this robot twice as fast as previous versions thanks to a common drive system with many engines. The 3D environment measuring system is implemented with sensors mounted on the head. When the vision is obscured by objects such as material or media stacks, the robot can use memory to navigate an area.

In testing, robots can build plaster walls. It can map the surroundings, rely on the desk to get a plasterboard, lower the plaster to the wall, pick up and pick up the necessary tools, then twist the plasterboard to the wall.

With all the features that HRP-5P brings, it is not difficult when construction workers are not interested because one day it can rob their jobs.
