The Mononofu humanoid robot has been designed and built for 6 years by Sakakibara Kikai's expert team, UPI on September 5. Masaaki Nagumo said it was designed according to giant robots in Japanese films and animation, inside even a cockpit to control motion robots.
At first, the company was not going to make Mononofu that high."We plan to build the robot about 5-6 m high. But we want to install a cockpit so that height will not be enough," Masaaki explained. The door of the assembly warehouse is only 7m high, so every time Mononofu is tested, the engineering team will have to temporarily remove its head.
Mononofu is Sakakibara Kikai's second giant humanoid robot. The first large-sized robot to be named Landwalker. " I still do not believe we have done it. Perhaps I will feel successful when I see the evidence displayed in the office," Masaaki said.
