Sputnik News on April 22 reported that the manager of a museum in Poland named Bartlomiej Plebanczyk was convinced that the famous Amber room was in an underground chamber in the northern Polish bunker complex , which used to be a pillar German military base during World War II.

According to radio station RMF 24, Plebanczyk made the above conclusion after using ground- penetrating radar technology and he was asking for permission to drill a hole in the wall of the storage chamber to find out inside.

Plebanczyk also said that in the 1950s, the Polish regiment of the regional army received word from a man. The man claimed to have witnessed the German truck convoy arriving at the bunker with Building number 31. The witness emphasized the mysterious cargo box that was taken down from the truck and kept in the bunker, then the walls were erected around. .

The Amber Room is decorated with gold leaf amber plates built for Catherine Palace in Tsarskoye Selo town near Saint Petersburg.

The Amber Room was born in the 18th century and lost during World War II after the Nazi army looted the area. The present gallery in Saint Petersburg was completed in 2003.
