Love is never too much
While most things will be best in moderation, love is as much as possible, and you will want to give and receive comfort on Valentine's Day.
Being in a loving and healthy affair will be good for the heart, said Julie Damp, a researcher at Vanderbilt Heart Institute, USA. However, it is not clear why. It is possible that those who are married or have an intimate relationship will have lower levels of anxiety, less smoking, better mobility and also a better social status.
"There is a theory that lovers are going through hormonal changes that have a positive effect on the body, including the cardiovascular system," Damp said. "Some hormones in the body change depending on the level of stress and anxiety of each person."
In fact, studies have also shown that stress can be lethal and loneliness also causes people to die slowly. Losing a loved one also brings a broken heart. Conflicts or unstable relationships also increase the risk of cardiovascular disease.
A study at the Heart and Stroke Association in Canada found that people with unhappy relationships will have high blood pressure when they live with their partners. Those who have high blood pressure when having a happy and loving affair will lower their blood pressure whenever they are with their loved ones.
Of course there are different types of love."Research just wants to say that love and love will bring a lot of health benefits," Damp said.
