McAfee is sued for patent infringement
Security firm Deep Nines on August 17 has filed a lawsuit against McAfee for violating the patent when using a technology to manage security threats for its products.
The Deep Nine claims that it is the owner of a technology invention that enables firewall connectivity, intrusion detection (based on digital signatures) and blocking technology, all of which are integrated and an application. McAfee spokesman said he had not received a copy of Deep Nines' lawsuit, and thus could not give any comment.
