Meteors cause panic in England
In the early morning of March 4 (Vietnam time), shooting stars appeared in the sky of northern England but caused many people to panic to call the police because they thought it was an airplane accident. The meteor exploded after falling across the sky for more than 30 seconds.

Thousands of people happened to witness this phenomenon, many of whom quickly shot videos and posted them on social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook.
BBC quoted police sources as saying they had received a lot of calls informing about a "orange spot" and "brilliance" in the sky in northern England and Scotland around 21:40 on 3-3 international time ( 4h40 am 4-3 hrs VN), many people expressed concern that it was a plane crash. However, the British Meteorological Agency later announced on Twitter that it was a meteor. At the same time, the police announced the air traffic control unit confirmed that there was no plane crash.
