According to the explanation of the above work, this alarm mechanism is based on the phenomenon of earthquakes when it happens to broadcast basic waves and secondary waves. Basic waves are always transmitted earlier at speeds above 5 km / sec, nearly double the speed of secondary waves, the cause of damage.

When the basic wave is captured, the alarm system issues an alarm on the Internet with an earlier interval of 20 to 50 seconds before an earthquake occurs. However, this time depends on the distance between the device and the epicenter.

In addition to the advantage of lower operating costs, this new warning system is also capable of detecting earthquakes in any locality in the national territory, while the current alarm system only works in the region. Pacific coastal territory.

Because of its geographic location on an unstable area, near the junction of two Cocos and North American regions, in Mexico, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions often occur.
