Microsoft fixed the Google lawsuit
The big lawsuit between the two US corporations has been filed in federal court and the trial will take place on 9 January. However, the "fate" of Kai-Fu Lee identification technology expert was decided earlier than expected.
" We have completed a separate agreement to solve the problem of mutual benefit ," the Microsoft representative said. " The content of the negotiations will be kept confidential and the two sides pledge not to make any other statements to the media ."
In July, Google intended to invite Kai-Fu Lee, who was a deputy director of Microsoft, to lead their research center in China. Microsoft immediately proceeded to take a lawsuit in Washington state, saying he had violated their contract. Google also responded by filing a petition with the California state court against the world's largest operating system manufacturer.
Observers identified the lawsuit as a tactical step to hinder the increasingly widespread influence of Google. The Mountain View, California (US) search firm has also overtaken Microsoft in the hands of key customer AOL, which is said to support them to expand advertising revenue, instant messaging and video services.
