Mobile laboratory

A project in Europe coordinated by Ikerlan and CIC microGUNE is developing a small and mobile laboratory format.

Named Labonfoil , the device uses chip-based technology to detect a wide range of active ingredients that diagnose the disease. The aim of the project is to create cheap, flexible and can test devices with smart devices.

The project received the participation of 13 partners from 8 countries. Labonfoil is designed to be simple, sensitive, for quick results but low cost and cost.

Gizmag magazine quoted scientists as saying that this is an extremely flexible system based on smart cards and handheld reading devices. They can detect signs of chemicals and biochemistry, can read data and produce results with a print board or send data to desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones.

Especially thanks to the compact, flexible, it is possible to bring the machine to remote areas, collect data and send it to experts to have appropriate treatment direction.

The current version of Labonfoil uses three types of smart cards and auxiliary systems, which can detect drug molecules on human skin in real time, using only a few drops of blood to determine the type of protein that can cause cancer. colon letters, classification of bacteria and viruses that patients have .
