'Monsters from the East' engulfed England in frost

Intense snowstorms combined with Siberia's cold wind were dubbed the "oriental monster" that was sweeping and engulfed in frost when Britain caused the temperature to drop to a record -15 degrees Celsius.

The temperature falls to a record -15 degrees Celsius in East and Central England due to intense Siberia winds, thick ice and heavy rain are threatening to lead to power cuts, intermittent travel, loss of waves phone, British government forecasters warned.
