After the storm, the

Millions of sea creatures have had to abandon their bodies on the East Yorkshire beach as a result of Hurricane Emma's passing.

A few days ago, the United Kingdom and some European countries were engulfed in freezing cold air from Siberia, along with Emma's influence - the storm was named.

Originating in the last days of February, the storm landed on the United Kingdom, causing the nation to sink into chaos. And so far, when the storm is over, what it leaves is a really terrible battlefield.

This is shown in new photos published in the East Yorkshire coast (a county of England). People have to witness a truly painful scene, when millions of marine creatures - from fish, lobsters, to starfish - are drying their bodies on the beach.

According to experts, the storm created large tides and whirlwinds, causing the bottom of the seabed to be swept straight up to Fraisthorpe beach. The entire beach is flooded with tons of aquatic species. Some were barely alive, but most died.

Jack Sanderson is one of the fishermen who tried to save the living individuals. Sanderson called this a battlefield, not only because of its tragic scene, but because he had to fight back to the locals to "sting" the lobsters that were not yet large. Sanderson and his group wanted to put them in the box, then drop them back into the ocean.

"It's like a battlefield, really chaotic. There are all the sea creatures: crabs, lobsters, scallops, earth eels, cod ." - Sanderson shared.

"Extremely strong winds from the east have created waves as high as 6.2 meters. At the same time, cold air and snow make the sea temperature drop by at least two degrees a day - so much."

"The disasters combined together, plus the wind has all wrapped up on the beach. Even so far: after every wave, there are creatures that appear."

A similar affair occurred in Kent County, when tens of thousands of starfish sunk on Ramsgate. The reason is also because of Emma.

Sanderson shared that he was disappointed with a part of the people. They seek to take away the young shrimp, steal their eggs, while it's illegal.

"Don't misunderstand - we make a living by the sea. But the law is born for us to obey. We hope to release the shrimp in the next few days. It will take about 10km to go out to sea to release them."

He hoped that the miserable scene on the beach was just a proof that the sea was biologically diverse, not a disaster for the seafood hunting industry he was working on.

"There are hundreds of thousands of shrimp, millions of shellfish. We can't count them all."

"80 - 90% of lobsters are dead. This is the third time in 30 years I have to witness this scene. It is natural, it has happened and will continue to happen".
