Motivation for Vietnamese robocon future
On August 22 in Japan, the Vietnamese team won the 3rd prize at the 2009 Asia - Pacific Robocon competition. The Chinese team won the first prize and the Hong Kong team won the second prize.
As reported, Vietnam robocon team won the 3rd prize at the competition. Vietnam Robocon team with representatives of SPK KNIGHT of HCMC University of Technology has designed automatic robots using speed sensors to synchronize with the robot speed manually. The steering mechanism of the robot is controlled by a separate Driver circuit, which reduces the task of the central processor, increasing speed and accuracy, steering the front wheel and running the trajectory very quickly.

The mission of the robot at the competition is to carry out the theme of the competition - ' Along the journey to the victory drum '. The 2009 Robocon competition attracted 20 teams from 19 countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific region.
The content of the contest is based on the imaginary journey of using Kago palanquin of modern Japanese people. Each team needs to have an automatic robot in front and a manual robot in the back to coordinate the task of carrying the palanquin. These robots will work together to bring an automatic robot called the ' Traveler Robot ' on Kago stretcher to the destination.
During the journey, the robot must overcome obstacles on the path of a mountain, a forest but must not let the palanquin or the ' Traveler Robot ' fall. Go to the scoring area, the auto-traveling robot will have to hit 3 winning drums (placed in line on the game field). The first team to beat all 3 drums above will win.
Each match at the Asia-Pacific Robococn Contest 2009 lasts for 3 minutes.
Head of Vietnam Robocon delegation emphasized: although ranked third in this tournament, but Vietnam Robocon team still stands on the team of technology powers such as Japan and Korea. This will create a great motivation for the young generation of Vietnam to rise up.
