On May 5, at Tien Son Sports Palace (Da Nang), the organizing committee of Vietnam Robocon contest held a round of 8 group matches for 32 teams of robots to win the national finals (VCK).

Each group has 4 teams competing in a round-robin round from 7 to 10 May to select the two best-performing teams in the knockout round after that. Immediately after the start of the division, teams give the robot a test run on the game field and adjust the technique.

Within the framework of the DMK, the organizers also decided to choose 9 innovative products to join Robocon Techshow. These are technological innovations that show practicality, apply to real life, production is researched and developed from Robocon playground and displayed and performed next to the exciting matches of the VCK. Of the 9 products of students from 7 universities and institutes nationwide participating in Robocon Techshow this year, there are 6 products, including: Robots crossing the Shrimp III shape, Rhex robots (Ha Noi University of Industry) Noi), parallel robots (University of Technical Education in Ho Chi Minh City), garbage removal robots (Red Star University), underwater self-propelled robots (Information Officers) and human robots traveling on two legs (University of Engineering and Technology industry).

The remaining three products are solar power vessels and air cushion boats (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology), flexible integrated production system (Red Star University) and SSR automatic assembly system (Lac Hong University). ).
