Vietnam for the 6th time the Asia-Pacific robocon championship
Passing Malaysia in the dramatic final, Lac Hong University students brought back their sixth championship to Vietnam.
On the afternoon of August 27, in Tokyo (Japan), Vietnam Robocon team excelled in winning the Asia-Pacific Robocon final against rival Malaysia with a time of 1 minute 16 seconds. Thailand and Japan teams lost in two semi-finals to win the 3rd prize.

Before being at the finals, the Vietnamese team in turn won and persuaded strong teams like Sri Lanka, India and Japan .
Vietnam Robocon team this year has 13 members from Lac Hong University (Dong Nai). These are students who have just won the national Robocon championship held in Ninh Binh. With this championship, Lac Hong University has been crowned at the international playground for the second time, after the first time in 2014.
The Asia - Pacific Robocon competition is for students of universities and colleges in the region organized by the Asia - Pacific Broadcast - Television Association (ABU). This year the competition has the participation of 16 teams from 15 countries and territories.
Vietnam participated in the competition since 2002, has now won the championship 5 times, in which Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (2002, 2004, 2006), Lac Hong University (2014), University of Technical Education Hung Yen (2015).
