Vietnam won the second prize in the international Robocon competition

On September 21, at the central stadium of Cairo capital of Egypt, Vietnam Robocon team excelled in the final round and won the second prize in the Asia-Pacific international Robocon creative competition .

The first prize in the competition belongs to the Chinese team. At this contest, the Vietnamese team also won the Panasonic sponsor award.

This result is not beyond the predictions of the experts. Although the Chinese team was in the final, the Vietnam Robocon team still affirmed their position as one of the strongest teams in this tournament.

In Group D, the Vietnamese team easily overcame the Japanese and Malaysian teams to take the first place, then continued to win with a score of difference against the home team of Egypt in the quarterfinals and the Hongkong team at Sell. link.

Vietnam Robocon team leader Dang Duy So said the Vietnamese team aims to win the third prize, so this result is considered a success for the whole team.

The representative of Vietnam participating in the international Robocon competition is the LED Union team of Lac Hong University.

This year's competition has the theme " Robo-Pharaoh built pyramids ," attended by 17 teams from 16 countries and regions.

Topic " Robo-Pharaoh builds the pyramid " based on the idea of ​​a time machine that takes the ancient Egyptian pyramid builders into the classrooms of technical schools. The teams must control the robot to build parts of the three pyramids. Within three minutes the team that completed first won.

Next year's competition will be held in Thailand.
