In the group stage, Vietnam won against Hong Kong and Bangladesh teams. After crossing Egypt, Vietnam met Indonesian team in the semi-finals. Initially, Indonesia was ahead of the Vietnamese team but then with confidence, Vietnam came back up and won against Indonesia in an instant.

Meeting Japan in the final round, with confidence and calmness, Vietnam has far surpassed its competitors and won convincingly.
