Vietnam won the second prize in the Asia-Pacific Robocon competition
Vietnam team has excellently reached the final round and won the second prize in the Asia-Pacific international Robocon creative competition. The first prize belongs to the Chinese team.
After the Japanese team in the semi-finals, the Robocon team from Lac Hong University (Dong Nai), including 6 students representing Vietnam, entered the final round with the Chinese team on the afternoon of August 19.
However, due to the technical error of the robot, the Vietnamese team missed an appointment with the champion of Robocon 2012. Two third-ranked teams were Japan and Thailand.
The 2012 Asia-Pacific International Robocon Creative Competition, held at the Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition Center (Hong Kong, China), with the participation of 17 teams from 16 countries and territories in the region.
In addition to the first, second and third prizes, the organizers also awarded "Best Ideas" awards to Hong Kong host team (Chinese team 1), "Best Design" (Malaysia) and "Operation The most stable " (Thailand) with some prizes of sponsors Toyota, Panasonic and Mabuchi Motor respectively for Indonesian, Mongolian and Indian teams.
