Asia-Pacific Robocon Exam in Da Nang
The 2013 Asia-Pacific Pacific Robocon Contest hosted by Vietnam will take place from August 14-18, 2013 at Tien Son Sports Palace - Da Nang City.
Previously, the Central Region - Central Highlands qualifiers and the final round of Vietnam Robocon Contest (from 6 - 12/5) will also be held in this coastal city.
Da Nang People's Committee has just agreed to cooperate with Vietnam Television to host these two competitions.
Unlike the previous competitions that exploited the cultural characteristics of host countries as the theme, the 12th Asia - Pacific Robocon contest exploited the global problem, looking to the future: Green Planet.
The teams will be likened to the seed germinator to revive the planet with the technical requirements, the rules of the game have many changes, helping the team to promote their creativity.
Deep competition is designed with an area of 13x13m with the center being earth with diameter of 8.5m. Two automatic robots will move in arc shape, with the task of planting trees into 7 points on the earth, then seeding the moon on the moon (column height 1.5m, 50cm diameter) by throwing with distance over 3m.
