Ca Mau Province will select the appropriate date to celebrate the recognition of Mui Ca Mau National Park - the new Ramsar area of ​​the world, marking a milestone in the end of the country.

Located in Dat Mui commune, Ngoc Hien district, Ca Mau province, Mui Ca Mau National Park has an area of ​​more than 41,800ha, is a coastal mangrove area. There are many rare and precious animals such as Bo Nong foot gray, Giang Sen, Otter, Large-spotted Civet, precious turtles and hundreds of species of aquatic, plant and amphibian species being preserved.

Mui Ca Mau National Park is Vietnam's fifth Ramsar site recognized by the World Environment Organization as the world's new Ramsar Site; behind Xuan Thuy National Park Ramsar recognition list in Nam Dinh and Bau Sau provinces of Cat Tien National Park of Dong Nai, Ba Be Lake in Bac Kan province and Tram Chim National Park of Dong Thap province.

This is an opportunity for Ca Mau province to invest in exploiting the potentials and strengths of submerged areas for ecotourism development; At the same time, many rare and precious animal and plant species are preserved in the red books of Vietnam and the world.
