Museum of volcanoes

The town of Chaihe, in Inner Mongolia, north of China, is regarded as a " volcanic museum " because of the traces of eruptions from ancient times that remain throughout the area.

Chaihe town, in Zalantun city, is located inside the Higgan mountain range. In recent years, scientists have discovered a total of 15 craters in Chaihe. Remnants of ancient ghost eruptions still remain throughout the town. Therefore, this place is called the " Volcanic Museum ".
