Mysterious dog origin

The overly close relationship between humans and dogs is the reason why their development history is so many mysteries, most of them are still based on guesses from researchers.

>>>Why do some dogs never grow?

'The relationship has completely erased the information about the origin and the early history of today's dogs,' said evolutionary biologist Greger Larson at Durham University (UK).

Dogs are the first animals to be domesticated by humans. However, our understanding is only there and the exact time as well as how many different wolf populations contribute to the increase in the number of modern dogs worldwide is still 2 in. A lot of questions have not been clearly addressed.

About 15,000 years ago or more, the genetic history of dogs is a 'mess' . The breeding process has taken place, people have taken them all over the world, some have even disappeared.

Genetic origins are particularly difficult to understand in some modern breeds including Akitas, Afghan hunting dogs, Shar-Pei Chinese, Basenjis, Salukis. Information about them even from a few thousand years ago but not much and so, people do not know they are closer to the first domestic dogs or more modern breeds.

The team analyzed genetic data from 1,375 dogs representing 35 varieties, including 6 'ancient' breeds. Mapping the location of domesticated species based on archaeological evidence as well as the extent of the wolf's life - modern dog ancestors, they found that most of the 'ancient' breeds were not derived from those areas. This has hindered their early history including place, time, .

However, genetic sequencing technologies and techniques will open up the ability to answer all the questions that have challenged researchers for a long time.
