The center of the garden is located south of the Nahanni River. There are four large canyons with the names of the first alley: Monday, Tuesday, Tuesday and Wednesday . creating a majestic white river. The name Nahanni comes from the Dene Aboriginal language and is understood in the sense of " Spirit ".

The beautiful natural landscape with mountains, rivers and lakes, and the evergreen forest . has brought Nahanni National Park a rare sight where it has been and this place has long been a favorite destination of the Nature lovers, mountaineers and adventurers .

The entire area of ​​this national park has a special geomorphological geology formed through the process of creating millions of years of the earth. The system of hot springs here is also extremely famous. Not only that, the park also has a leafy forest - it is home to many species of birds, fish and other mammals. With such outstanding values ​​and majestic beauty, Nahanni National Park is one of Canada's first legacies recognized by Unesco.

Through many surveys, zoologists said Nahnni National Park is home to many rare and precious species such as the grizzly bear; North American reindeer; wolves, mountain goats . and countless other molluscs. In total there are more than 40 species of mammals, 170 species of birds growing in the garden. Besides large gorges at the majestic waterfalls, this area also has salmon and some special fish species of North America.

Poplar forest has a rich vegetation system divided into two main biomes: plain and high mountainous areas. It is found here that trees growing in the mountains can still live in humid environments because they have transformed themselves to adapt to the environment. Besides, the orchid species in the forest are also very rich, especially some rare orchid species that only exist on high mountain peaks are also found here. In total, there are more than 600 species of plants, including 325 higher species with existing circuits in Nahann.

The rock mountains here are also very special, in which there are mainly sandstone areas, the areas are mainly limestone. At the center of the garden, there is a series of volcanic rocks contrasting with the ranges the remaining mountain.

Also in Nahanni National Park also has a very special terraced field system . This is a field system formed at elevations below 30 meters. These plots are built by the inhabitants of the neighboring villages to grow the crops. The scientists said that the sites were found to have traces of pets such as mountain goats.

What makes scientists and geologists most interested in is the flooding in the area that has created many canyons, ditches and streams for thousands of years and so far this phenomenon is still ongoing.

According to scientists, the features of these geological and geomorphologic layers provide information about the geological process of the earth.
