NASA discovered rod-shaped objects on Mars

NASA's Curiosity vehicle detects small rod-shaped objects on the surface of Mars , CNET reported yesterday. Curiosity landed on the Martian surface in August 2012 and is still working on this planet.

Scientists at NASA think they could be crystals , or minerals that fill the gap left behind by crystals of decomposition. The length of each object is only about 0.6cm. The research team is conducting further analysis to draw final conclusions.

New images attract a lot of attention as soon as they are posted on Twitter. Some suggested that it was a wheel mark, space dinosaur fossils, worms, or even traces of snowmen.

The objects with strange shapes on Mars are always a topic of great interest. Last month, Scott C. Waring, editor of the UFO Sightings website, posted a video analyzing a photograph of a spherical object that looks like a cannon on Mars. However, this is essentially a sedimentary rock that has been formed into a sphere after the fusion process.
