AC5 has the advantage of high quality rice variety, short growth time (110 - 115 days), the productivity is quite high and stable (55-65 quintals / ha). The variety can be cultivated for 2 crops a year with the forms of sowing medicinal herbs, gilding or sowing. AC5 has a rigid body, good resistance to pests and diseases, is particularly resistant to pests and diseases, and can reduce investment levels in production.

In addition, it also gives a high proportion of milled rice, good quality rice, such as long grain rice, white, clear, high in protein, fragrant, delicious and supple.

It is known that after creating this rice variety successfully, the northern provinces have put up trial production and the results show that AC5 has a strong ability to tillering, high economic value, good quality of product, in accordance with the natural event. Currently, some northern provinces have begun planning to use AC5 to replace other pure rice varieties to produce rice.
