New discoveries about the nature of magnetic fields
Scientists from the Medical Radiology Research Center in Obninsk, a suburb of Moscow, have determined that electromagnetic radiation has a very effective reassuring effect.
The widespread use of mobile phones now forces scientists to study the effects of low-frequency electromagnetic radiation on the brain. Experiments with mice have demonstrated that magnetic fields have the ability to calm nerves and reduce anxiety levels.
Biophysics experts from the Medical Radiology Research Center worked with experimental animals and for two days did not allow them to drink water. Then they put drinks in their cages: any animal that runs to drink water to quench thirst will get a pretty shock from the floor and the drink nipple. First, the mice endure - they're thirsty. But after 3-4 minutes, when the initial thirst was satisfied, these animals began to fear electrocution - or they did not come close to the water bottle at all, or if they came, they could only glaze near and not drink. country.
Another group of mice was placed in a low-intensity electromagnetic field within 5 minutes before being given. As a result, these animals come to drink more water, they drink more actively and longer - sometimes up to 10 minutes. Many of them almost ignored the electric shocks.
In essence, this newly discovered effect is the same as the activity of tranquilizers. Researchers examined the effects of radiation when using real sedatives.
Ly Sinh experts changed the experimental conditions. 35 minutes before "giving water" , they injected mice with familiar sedative phenazepam with the minimum dose, while irradiated mice were irradiated. Those in the control group were injected with physiological saline solution. Another group of mice was also injected with phenazepam, but not electromagnetic.
Sedation has worked as expected. Half of the mice were no longer afraid to get close to the water bottle. But the most daring are those that have been injected with phenazepam and then irradiated. Electric shocks completely prevented them and they seemed very normal near the water tank. Experts came to the conclusion that electromagnetic radiation significantly increased the sedative effect of phenazepam.
However, scientists have absolutely no intention of recommending the use of mobile phones as a sedative .
