New hope for heart patients

Experts from the Stanford-Burnham Institute of Medical Research, a molecular biology research institute, have found a molecule that helps convert stem cells into new heart cells.

This study, which lasted for eight years, has important implications for healing sick hearts.

The key to this technology is to use a robot to select the molecules used to create a multitude of new stem cells from stem cells.

Research director Mark Mercola said: 'Heart disease is currently a top concern in the US, there are countless deaths every year from this disease.'

He said that when lost heart muscle cells cannot be recovered, this will lead to heart failure and lead to death. The only way to restore these heart muscle cells is to transplant the whole new heart. Now it will be easier to just transform stem cells into new heart muscle cells instead of whole heart transplants.

Finally, medical researchers created the ITD-1 compound - the basis of a new treatment for cardiovascular disease, helping to form new muscles for the heart.

Currently, the team is working with San Diego biotech company ChemRegen, Inc. to develop ITD-1 into a commercial drug to treat patients with cardiovascular disease.
