New hope for people paralyzed by spinal injuries

People with disabilities must attach their lives to a wheelchair after a serious injury can now hope to stand and can even walk again.

According to Radio Praha, at the Medical Rehabilitation Institute in the city of Kladruby in Benesov province, Czech Republic, treatment doctors started giving patients a trial of a new robot system that allows disabled people to stand, even Can practice walking again.

The Regi Base Foundation of the Czech Republic, which specializes in helping veterans, has "bought out" this device for 4.5 million krona.

However, both normal patients can use the rehabilitation program with the help of this new technique.

The robot, called Eksoskeleton, produced by the United States, is the only device of this type not only in the Czech Republic, but also in Eastern Europe, supporting treatment for patients with spinal injuries with spinal cord injuries.

In the near future, a similar device, but more functional, produced by Switzerland will also be used at the Czech Republic's Rehabilitation Institute.
