New hypothesis about X-ray halo around the black hole

The expert team, led by Kastytis Zubovas of the University of Leceister (UK), suspected that this situation was caused by a crowd of asteroids revolving around the black hole, objects deprived of their solar system.

According to calculations, these asteroids are approaching the area only about 160 million kilometers away from Sagittarius A *, the distance between the sun and the earth. And once they get into this area, they will be caught by this black hole "tearing up and swallowing".

When crumbling bodies fly through hot air streams flowing into the black hole, they evaporate and emit X-rays.
