Tylototriton anguliceps Tilapia fish

New species has distribution in Dien Bien and Son La; Chiang Rai (Thailand) and can be distributed in Myanmar (Laos). They are called toads, with the scientific name Tylototriton anguliceps Le, Nguyen, Nishikawa, Nguyen, Pham, Matsui, Bernardes & Nguyen, 2015.

Tylototriton anguliceps are relatively morphologically similar to toadfish T.yangi, T.pulchernnima, T.verucosus, T. uyenoi and T.shanjing, but the genetic distance between them ranges from 4.1 to 5.1%, in addition to New species have very clear differences in skull structure.

The new species has a body length of 61 to 63 mm in males, 65-74 mm in females. They have large nodules along the sides of the back, rough skin with small nodules. The legs of the species are long and small, the tail is thin. The first part, the limbs, the dorsal edges, the large warts on the side of the back and their tail are orange; the abdomen is brown or dark brown; The rest of the body is dark black.
