Newgra replacement therapy Viagra treat erectile dysfunction
The injection of stem cells reverses the injury and helps the penis to regain its full function without taking drugs.
, the most common treatment drug may soon be replaced by a stem cell injection therapy created by a group of scientists from the Danish Center for Reproductive Medicine.
Initial cell injection therapy aimed at patients who have had prostate removed due to cancer.(Photo: healthcentral).
Sharing with The Times, Dr. Soren Sheikh, head of the research team, said the initial cell injection therapy targeted patients who had to remove the prostate due to cancer."They often suffer from penile blood vessels and nerve endings, leading to difficulty in erection. Injecting stem cells can reverse this condition and regain the whole function," explained Dr. Sheikh.
To conduct stem cell therapy, doctors extract fat cells from the abdomen and then extract stem cells and inject them into the penis.
Not only supporting cancer patients, small trials of 8 male volunteers showed effective injections of stem cells with normal people. Doctor Sheikh revealed that stem cells could increase in size "little boy", the effect could not be seen in Viagra.
In fact, many works have shown stem cells improve the body's healing ability. However, the increase in volume or length of certain parts is still unclear.
The Danish Center for Regenerative Medicine is waiting for test results from 12 men, but believes that stem cell therapy will become a viable option for anyone with erectile dysfunction.
