Newly developed thermometers do not need to be clipped to the armpit or placed under the tongue

Withings Thermo is a modern thermometer introduced in CES 2016, using Wi-Fi networks and sensors to measure temperature.

Withings has launched a completely new electronic thermometer without having to put it under the tongue to be able to measure body temperature. The Withings Thermo will connect to a Wi-Fi network, and use a network of 16 infrared sensors to measure body temperature through the temporal artery. The company claims that this is the fastest, most accurate and least annoying way in the market.

This product costs about $ 120.

Withings argues that Thermo can measure up to 4,000 times in 2 seconds by turning the thermometer into the temporal region. A specially designed algorithm will correct errors such as skin temperature and ambient conditions (such as in a hot or cold room).

There will be a dedicated application for Withings Thermo to aggregate user information via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and it is capable of managing the information of many users. Users can enter drug information they are using into the app for easy tracking. In addition, parents will be notified if the child's temperature exceeds the permitted level. Withings Thermo will reach users in the first quarter of 2016 for about $ 120.
