Next year, you don't need to plug in the charger but the phone is still full of batteries

Real wireless charging technology is being developed, allowing the battery to be charged without plugging in at a distance of 1 meter.

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has decided to approve the license for Ossia development company wireless charging solution. Specifically, Ossia's technology will completely use wireless waves to charge the phone with a distance of up to 1m.

Wireless signal transmission system Cota will help charge devices via Wi-Fi with 2.4 GHz frequency. Instead of data transmission, the radio will charge via a receiver, typically Ossia's Forever Case cladding with Spigen.

Wireless charging technologies on the market today force users to place a fixed device on a charging dock using magnetic induction. Meanwhile, the Ossia solution can work with a certain distance and no need to fix the device. You only need to use the special case for the phone to stay in the battery charging state if it is near the charging source.

Ossia hopes that this solution will keep the device fully charged and can even replace the battery to power it.

The technology will also support modern devices like the "universal connection" sensor (Internet Of Things).

"Ossia has imagined a world with the energy supplied without cables, batteries, chargers or wave-based devices that rely too much on Wi-Fi. This certification can be seen as walking. First breakthrough to the future, " the company's announcement said.

The process of making this solution took longer than expected. Previously, according to plan, Ossia will launch this product in 2018. But now, Ossia said commercial products will only be released in 2020.
