Extreme weather caused widespread damage in the southeastern United States when strong storms and tornadoes swept across March 19. Martha Hart Mulligan, a resident of Alabama, shot the scene from above, while returning from Charlotte, North Carolina to Birmingham, Alabama, Storyful reported yesterday.
Hart Mulligan said American Airlines 5566 flight pilot tried to drive the plane south to avoid the impact of the storm. The plane then landed safely and no passengers on the flight were injured.
According to Fox News, storms swept across the southeastern United States on March 19, destroying many buildings and buildings, leaving at least one person dead and thousands of people living in power outages.
