Tornadoes make dozens of casualties in the United States

The National Weather Service (NWS) said that in the afternoon of November 17, a total of more than 60 large and small tornadoes occurred in the Midwest region of the United States.

According to local police, at least 3 people were killed and about 100 injured, mainly due to collapsing houses or being hit by objects when tornadoes swept over. The number of people killed may continue to increase as more people are seriously injured.
According to initial information, tornadoes caused heavy damage in three states of Illinoi, Indiana and Kentucky.
The worst damaged place is the Washington town of Illinois with hundreds of houses flattened.
According to the NWS forecast, the above tornadoes are likely to affect 10 US states with a total population of about 53 million people.
