No casualties were born
Explosives bring rocket firepower, but a new type of US military missile hits the target with electromagnetic waves.
Modern armies need a lot of electronics to detect enemies, coordinate the actions of units and guide the weapon.
To disable military electronics, people need complex aircraft to interrupt or destroy electronic equipment operators. But in the future, soldiers could shoot a microwave rocket to disable the opponent's electronic device without causing human casualties. It's a weapon that the US Air Force and the Boeing Corporation recently announced, the Innovation News Daily reported.

The new missile proved to be capable of launching waves and destroying multiple targets in the first test at an American air base. The next test will demonstrate the ability to destroy electronic devices by microwave. Because of the high-energy missile-powered microwave, it can burn the most complex air defense systems, command centers, jet fighters and unmanned aerial vehicles.
"This test laid the groundwork for the launch of a non-lethal but extremely effective weapon ," said Keith Coleman, project manager for Boeing's microwave missile program.
Perhaps the missile does not help the US military in fighting the rebels in Afghanistan, but they can be more useful in situations like the war in Libya, where military aircraft and missiles The attack on the military targets of Moammar Gadhafi forces, while trying to reduce casualties to civilians. They can even knock down many unmanned aerial vehicles and take control of the enemy before the aircraft take off. It is not clear whether they can attack aircraft in flight.
Microwave (or microwave) is a type of ultra-short-wave electromagnetic wave (ie ultra-high frequency). They are made by ultra-high frequency electromagnetic oscillators.
