Snow falls within 3 hours from noon to afternoon 26/1 making snow layers 10-15cm thick in many places in the state of Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia West, Pennsylvania and Washington capital. In many parts of New Jersy and New York, the snow layers were 25cm tall.

The National Weather Agency of the United States issued an urgent notice, saying that from the evening to the night of January 26, the Northeastern region will suffer the biggest snow showers in the past few years with the snow falling to 8 - 10cm / hour.

Snow showers with strong winds, up to 60-65km / h, will make the temperature in the Northeast region drop sharply, many places will be minus 15 degrees Celsius.

This is the third snowstorm in more than a month in the Northeast of the United States. The second snowstorm in mid-January left heavy snow layers in many places, about 155cm in Hartford in the state of Connecticut, 120cm in Boston in Massachusetts state and nearly 90cm in New York.
