OS X errors are dangerous for Mac users

Picture 1 of OS X errors are dangerous for Mac users A new bug found on OS X (Mac OS) can give hackers the opportunity to hack into and install malicious programs on the computer.

This is the third security issue after the appearance of two attack viruses on OS X last week. This shows that Mac computer users are also exposed to similar risks to Windows users.

Internet Storm SANS warned: whenever you use Apple's Web Safari browser to visit a website that is intentionally attacking, the result must be rootkits, or malicious code that is installed on the computer without the user knowing. . Your device will then be completely remote controlled .

The Apple company announced that it is developing a patch for this security bug, but they have not indicated the exact time.

The above security error was discovered by Michael Lehn first published on Heise Online website. Attackers just need to embed a malicious code in a zip file and post it on the website. The file and the code will be executed whenever a user of the Safari browser accesses the website. These codes are inherent in the metadata of the zip file. The danger is that attackers do not need to send the zip file. As long as the user accesses the website that contains this file, the code is immediately launched.

The culprit is in the Mac OS Finder program, a component of the operating system to manage and view files. A file can pretend to be safe and work publicly as a result.

Secunia Company rated this error extremely seriously. Even Symantec ranked in the same category. Mac users can protect themselves by, canceling the execution of the 'Open safe files after downloading ' function in the Option section of the Safari browser. Users of other browsers, such as Firefox or Camino, are not attacked directly from the Internet, but you can also attack yourself, if you download those zip files and execute them on your computer.
