Pay 8 bear horses to the forest

Dong Nai has handed over 8 horse bears to Cat Tien National Park to take care before releasing them to the forest. This is the number of illegal captive bears discovered and confiscated.

On November 22, Dong Nai Provincial Forest Protection Department handed over 8 horse bears to Cat Tien Endangered Wildlife Rescue Center under Cat Tien National Park. This number of horse bears will be taken care of here before being released to the forest.

Previously, these 8 bear bears were from Gia My International Trading Co., Ltd. (Tam Phuoc Industrial Park, Long Thanh district), led by Mr. Chien Sung Li, an illegal captive director. Each animal weighs 30-60 kg. These bear bears have not been declared and do not have electronic chips to manage according to current regulations.

Therefore, Dong Nai Provincial Forest Protection Department, Long Thanh District Forest Protection Department and Police Department of Economic Crime Investigation and Provincial Police Department made a record and seized the number of these bear bears.

Horse bear belongs to the list of rare and precious wild animals group B1.
