A new software from Sweden offers a magical ability: Compress high-resolution images into a memory capacity that cannot be "stubborn".

For example, a 2MP machine now needs at least 12 MB of free memory, while with CAPS, it only needs 0.44MB. However, the image quality is not affected at all. In addition, CAPS also processes images 20 times faster than current models.

This means that with CAPS, the phone does not necessarily have too large memory. Manufacturers will have to spend less money on phone memory, and that will help customers save a lot of money when buying phones.

Scalado said that CAPS will help reduce the cost of producing a cricket to $ 3.50 - a significant amount in the current competitive landscape. However, for memory card companies, it is a nightmare.

CAPS can operate on both operating systems for smartphones with Symbian and Windows Mobile 5.0.
