Through the initial study of the relics of the Relics Management Board, it was identified as the first 'strange' sandstone Linga statue found in the ruins and the first time discovered. Vietnam.

Surprisingly, after discovering this statue of Linga in this strange ' sandstone ' on the head of the statue with the statue of Siva. This is different from the previously discovered Linga statues.

The initial judgment of the professional staff of My Son Heritage Management Board said that this is the first time the statue of Linga on the Siva-shaped relief head, called Mukhalinga, was first discovered in Vietnam.

At present, the provincial specialized agency and the Center for Conservation of Monuments are documenting and determining the identity of this strange Linga statue. The discovery of this strange stone statue made archaeologists wonder and could not believe the rare statue found in the area of ​​Cham My Son tower. This will be data for archaeologists to continue to study more deeply about this ancient tower.
