According to the Vietnam News Agency correspondent in Algeria, the General Administration of Algeria has cooperated with the North African Research Agency to organize a workshop on African newspaper protection (Guepard), especially in the area. In North Africa in general and in the Desert Desert region in particular, with the participation of many researchers and veterinary experts from Europe and the host country.

Delegates at the seminar proposed a specific action plan to protect and conserve the African press in the endangered North Africa region.

Experts also suggested establishing a data bank for African newspapers in both French and Arabic languages ​​to help local partners to learn more easily about this rare animal.

Deeply aware of the danger of extinction of the African newspaper, in 2005, a similar meeting was organized by the North African Research Agency in Paris (France).

At this meeting, participants pledged to participate in the monitoring and conservation of rare and precious African species by establishing relationships with local partners, strengthening student training for research labs. as well as on-the-job training and data collection to monitor and establish long-term conservation programs in the African newspaper community in North Africa.
