Products from waste cooking oil appear in Vietnam
The products made from dirty cooking oil in Taiwan are exported to 12 countries and territories, including Vietnam.
This information was confirmed by Chinese Central Television on September 12.
Accordingly, dirty cooking oil of Taiwan's Cuong Quan (Chang Guann) is used in products of 1,200 Taiwanese enterprises.
Taiwanese authorities also said that 14 types of products using this dirty oil were exported to 12 different countries and territories, including: Mainland China, Hong Kong, the US, Vietnam. , France, South Africa, Singapore, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Australia, New Zeland.
Chang Guann Group produced a total of 782 tons of dirty cooking oil and slipped into the market. Taiwan authorities fined the group 1.6 million dollars (NT $ 50 million).
Taiwan authorities also confirmed that 24 types of Chang Guann's grease products consumed in Taiwan market were also recalled.
