Project of scientific cooperation between Palestine and Israel

Researchers in Israel, Palestine and Germany are collaborating on a project to convert tilapia sex from roof to drum in the hope of increasing the weight of fish, because the drum is bigger, bigger and more weight 1/3 times female fish.

This is a project to provide more food for Palestinians in the West Bank when they now have to import most of the fish from Israel and the Gaza Strip coast. The consumption of fish, especially freshwater fish, has dropped significantly in the past few years due to rising costs and the prohibition of travel and trade between Israelis and Palestinians.
